Medical Booking Agent

A great opportunity for a Medical Booking Agent!!!

(Previous medical experience necessary aswell and DBS)

3 days per week:

Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday - optional Monday.

9-5 ideally although would be flexible with 8-4

Job Description

Booking agent will be using Trust in-house systems to book patients onto ENT/General Surgery and Pre-op lists.

You will be required to contact each patient by phone to confirm attendance and give any specific instructions required, book onto the computer system and send documentation to the patient in preparation for their procedure.

· To answer telephone enquiries from patients, GPs, clinicians, nurses and colleagues and take appropriate action

· To update patient details and register, and book appointments on Millennium in line with Trust policy.

· To liaise with doctors, specialist nurses, GPs and another member of the Team to provide a quality service for patients.

· To work in line with department and Trust policy and procedure to ensure quality information is provided to the Trust systems.

May have to assist with other administrative queries.
