MECHANICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR A MECHANICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

• £38/ph. inside IR35
• Initial 6-month Contract
• Filton based - 2 days a week from home
• 35 hour working week
• 1 stage interview

WHO WE ARE?

We are a globally recognised Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our Landing Gears Team. This team is looking for someone with knowledge and experience related to the development of Mechanical Systems, including hydro-mechanical, and applying systems engineering methodologies such as requirements management.

WHAT WILL THE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER BE DOING?

• Performing root cause investigations
• Developing and qualifying new systems
• Performing requirements validation and verification activities
• Providing modifications to equipment through change processes

WE NEED THE MECHANICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Hydro-Mechanical Systems Engineering experience
• A background in Aerospace, Maritime, or Automotive Engineering
• Structural analysis experience such as static stress or fatigue
• Competent using DOORS
• The ability to go through a BPSS check
