Are you a Mechanical Supervisor looking for a new challenge? 

My client who is a reputable Mechanical and Electrical firm in the South West is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join their team in Bristol. The company has various contracts throughout the South West within the Building Services sector. This is a company with great staff retention, training and career progression. 

Description and duties:-

Supervise and monitor performance of labour and specialist sub-contractors, ensuring completion of set related tasks in accordance with drawings and in line with programme requirement
Attend weekly site meetings with the Main Contractor
Undertake site quality inspections to ensure site compliance with client requirements and specification.
Complete Onsite check forms as provided by the Main Contractor, Quality etc.
Assist the visiting Project Manager with on-site tasks and planning
Material ordering, deliveries, organisation and safe keeping of.
Establish milestones required to ensure successful progression and completion of project according to Main Contractors programme.
Raise any issues that could affect progress to Project Manager in good time.

Skills:- 

To be successful in this field, you must possess strong organisational, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills. You should be a detail-oriented leader who can meet deadlines and work with diverse employees. It is important that you possess the ability to work independently, with little or no supervision. 

Experience:-

At least three years previous experience working as a Mechanical Site Supervisor within your discipline with either a SSSTS/SMSTS Card
Mechanical Qualifications (NVQ’S, Etc
Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, preferably 2 years
Valid Driving License
