Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £42,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Schedule: 8.5-hour shift, Day shift/Twilight shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday/Monday - Thursday, No weekends

Are you a skilled mechanical engineer with a passion for Commercial Gas Engineering? Our client, a leading Commercial heating system fitter, is seeking a proactive and experienced individual to join their team as a Mechanical Supervisor.

Job Description: As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will work closely with the Project Manager, overseeing Commercial Projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing progress and quality of work on site, providing support and guidance to the installation team
  • Planning installations and solving engineering issues with the Project Manager
  • Managing staff and subcontractors to ensure progress, quality of work, and health and safety compliance
  • Undertaking scoping visits, preparing progress reports, survey reports, and estimates
  • Supporting in delivering construction phases, commissioning, and handover
  • Resolving technical issues and completing ad hoc works as needed

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a skilled mechanical engineer with experience in Pipefitting, Gas Engineering, or Installation, particularly in the Commercial sector. Key qualifications and attributes include:

  • Wide-ranging experience in HVAC and plumbing scope of work
  • Experience working on local authority and education projects
