Mechanical Quality Inspector

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a meticulous Mechanical Inspector to join our engineering client. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of mechanical components produced in-house meet specifications and customer requirements.

Primary duties include:

Calibrating inspection equipment

Performing first article inspections

OperatingCMMs and programming as needed

Identifying and communicating quality issues

Conducting root cause analysis

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives

Ensuring equipment calibration

Learning in-house systems efficiently

Raising non-conformances and completing corrective actions

Interpreting technical data and drawings

Desired skills/experience include:

Calibration system experience

Mechanical component inspection

Drawing and spec interpretation

Lean manufacturing knowledge

Organized and analytical approach

Keen eye for detail

ISO quality system experience

CMM operation

Apprenticeship or similar training
