Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager required for a Local M&E company based in in Middlesex. The Project Manager would manage 1-2 projects throughout London & Home Counties.

The Project Manager will be managing projects up to the value of £1.5-3m from initial inception to handover, this will include site visits, surveys, negotiate & purchase materials, supervise labour, commissioning, client training, O&M's as well as supporting on design and estimation. Ensuring that the project is delivered within budget and on time. The Mechanical Project Manager will be managing a team of Installations Engineers plus sub-contractors as well working with clients and local authorities

It is required that the Mechanical Project Manager will have at least 8 years proven experience delivering large scale Energy Centre and Heating projects for large Residential Tower Blocks and have experience working with local Authorities. The role will be based out of the client's office in Middlesex however, remote working is promoted, the role will be working from home, office and site

Mechanical Project Manager Position Requirements

• Experience project managing commercial M&E projects with District Heating, energy centres with communal pipework and controls
• Whilst practical and hands on experience is advantageous, technical mastery, communication skills and autonomy are equally important.
• Previous experience working with and managing projects for local Authorities.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience, with responsibility for running projects.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS Projects
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good attention to detail
• Contract negotiation

Mechanical Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Basic Salary £60,000 - £80,000 DOE
• Car Allowance or Company car
• Bonus scheme
