An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of construction-based products. The company is extremely well established with over 15 years of manufacturing experience and has an excellent reputation which is second to none in their marketplace. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced engineer.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of Medium to Heavy Manufacturing
• Understanding of PPM systems

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. There will be lots of machinery such as drives, bearings, conveyors, motors, granulators, PVC extrusion machinery, Hydraulics, Pneumatics. You will be involved in a variety of projects on site and be the focus from a mechanical installations point of view of good H&S awareness, PPM systems and process improvement on site. Ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
