Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with chemical manufacturing company to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their Rotherham facility.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Shift pattern – 07:45 - 15:45, early friday finish

The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will be fitting, installing and maintaining equipment on site. 

Our client is looking for a time-served maintenance fitter with experience working in a an industrial environment and is process driven.

Other duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:

• Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
• Fitting gearboxes, gears, pipes, pumps, motors 
• Installing pipework 
• Adhering to permits when carrying out jobs 
• Prioritising health and safety on all aspects of the role
• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment

To be successful in the role the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will need to have the following skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Pipe fitting experience is ideal 
• Mechanical fitting experience 
• Health and safety conscious
• Process driven
