VACANCY: MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION: HEMSWELL, LINCOLNSHIRE

SHIFT PATTERN: MON-FRI 8AM-4:30PM

SALARY: £37,500

Our Client

Our client is a large processor of food waste and is a 100% renewable business located in Lincolnshire.

As part of this continued growth, they seek an experienced, Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.

The role

In the role of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will work both proactively and reactively to minimise downtime and maximise efficient working time within a factory environment, where you will be required to monitor, maintain and repair a variety of production machinery.

Duties include:

  • Timely response to unplanned breakdowns.
  • High quality of planned & preventative maintenance.
  • A proactive approach to improving equipment/machinery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Following health and safety guidelines
  • Out of hours engineering support (including weekends) 1 week in 4.

About you

  • Time served Mechanical Engineer or relevant qualifications.
  • Electrical experience.
  • Able to read engineering diagrams.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems preferred but not essential.
  • Scada experience/knowledge
  • Work at height experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Experienced in using Maintenance Management System
