Site and Workshop based
Burton on Trent
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
Up to £45,000 (OTE £60,000)
Company vehicle
Unlimited overtime at enhanced rates


The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to work for a well-established and expanding business in Burton on Trent. Working as part of a team, you carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and refurbishment duties on hydraulic systems. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be well established within the field with experience in a customer facing role highly advantageous.

The company is currently expanding and can offer excellent career and development opportunities.

Responsibilities;

• Carry out site visits to diagnose fault and schedule a repair visit.
• Repairs on mechanical & hydraulic systems both on site and in the workshop.
• Carry out routine servicing on customer sites.
• Highlight and offer customers additional services whilst on site.
• Take the technical lead on site.

Candidate Expectation;

• Time served or apprentice trained 
• Excellent mechanical / hydraulic diagnostic, repair and servicing experience.
• Experienced working in the field and in a customer facing role.
• Confident to decision make and work autonomously.
