Are you a Mechanical Engineer or similar seeking to transition away from hands-on work, working for one of the UK's leading engineering training providers, where you'll receive extensive training and support to become a fully qualified Mechanical Instructor, make a direct impact on the future of engineers aswell as receiving an array of company benefits such as 38 days holidays & annual bonuses?

On offer is the opportunity to join a multi-site training association who are dedicated to passing the knowledge on to the next generation of Engineers and Apprentices. They work with over 100 companies providing upskill training, HNC/HND, engineering courses and apprentice training. Formed over 60 years ago, they are looking for the next wave of Engineers to grow their teaching team across, electrical, mechanical and machining disciplines.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training on mechanical engineering principles, covering planned and reactive maintenance techniques, lathe and milling machine operations, and the safe use of hand tools. Additionally, they will provide instruction on hydraulics or pneumatics systems and enforce adherence to health and safety practices and procedures throughout training sessions.

This role would suit an Mechanical Instructor or similar looking for a off the tools role, where you will be trained within the education sector, with a company who will help you with your qualifications and give you the opportunity to influence the next generation.

THE ROLE:

  • Deliver comprehensive training in electrical engineering, covering systems, safety, and regulations.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
  • Facilitate practical demonstrations to enhance understanding of theoretical concepts.

  • Mechanical Engineer or similar
