Are you passionate about ensuring quality and precision in mechanical engineering? Are you detail-oriented and skilled in inspection techniques? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Mechanical Inspector in Drigg, Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Utilize your expertise in CSWIP 3.1, MPI testing, and DPI testing to perform accurate and reliable inspections.
  • Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of findings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to address any issues identified during inspections.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSWIP 3.1 certification.
  • Proficiency in MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) testing.
  • Proficiency in DPI (Dye Penetrant Inspection) testing.
  • Previous experience in mechanical inspection or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
