Job Role: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Leicester

Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

Job Duties:

  • Working with mechanical components such as gears, bearings, motors, seals etc
  • Assemble mechanical parts by following engineering drawings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
  • Work on a variety of different projects
  • Carry out inspections and tests

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Fitting experience
  • Worked in a heavy engineering environment
  • MIG welding experience (desired)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy machinery and components
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings

Salary & Shift:

  • £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
  • Guaranteed overtime available at 1.5x
