the skill set required to work on a wide range of mechanical assembly projects for high integrity

applications within the UK Defence and Nuclear industries? We are working with an established &

respected engineering company, who are going from strength to strength.

Job Description
  • Working closely with the project engineers you will be working on a projects varying in size and complexity for high precision industries
  • You will read & follow technical engineering drawings to assemble projects
  • Work with a variety of metal
  • Once the work has been completed you will carry out test on the project to ensure that it meets the required tolerances and customer demands.


Mechanical Fitter
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Assembly role
  • Previously worked with in industries such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence
  • Experience of working with a wide range of assemblies in size and weight
  • Experience of working to tight tolerances
  • Experience of using manual machines such as mills & lathes
