Our client are a manufacturer of articulated platforms, arms and robotic controllers mainly used within the video and broadcast industries.

They have a requirement for an experienced fitter and machine operator to work in their busy machine shop to manufacture and assemble mechanical sections and sub-assemblies of their products.

Based just north of East Grinstead, operating their manual mills and lathes, you will be working from mechanical drawings, producing, repairing and upgrading assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.

You will already have a proven background of working in a machine shop environment. of working with precision engineering machinery (lathes and mills), have an attention to detail and working to tight tolerances.

You will have a solid understanding health and safety requirements of working within a machining industry, ideally with formal training/certificates to support this, and have the ability to work autonomously, demonstrating common sense and strong work ethics.

Hours are flexible, working a 40 hour week Monday to Friday (core hours 10.00am - 4.00pm)
