Mechanical Engineer

We are working with a leading scientific manufacturing company based in South Cambridge who are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support with the continual product design and development lifecycle.
• Use 3D Solidworks for product design.
• Create prototypes for review and analysis.
• Comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Test and evaluate designs.
• Design and review jigs and fixtures.
• Collaborate with wider teams to assist with system integrations.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
• 3 + years engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D Cad, Solidworks, GD&T and PDM.
• Excellent communicational and organisational skills.
• Experience taking idea through to execution.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
