Mechanical Engineer

We are currently working with a company that specialise in the design, development and supply of civil engineering machinery. Due to ongoing success, they are now looking to bring on an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and maintain mechanical systems and machinery. The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree and be experienced in the agricultural or civil engineering sector. You must also be based within commutable distance of Wellingborough.

Mechanical Engineer Position Overview

• Designing, analysing and upgrading mechanical systems
• Working with cross-functional teams
• Carrying out inspections and maintenance of equipment
• Using technical simulation tools to predict system behaviour under a variety of operating conditions
• Providing technical support to plant operations
• Ensuring all work adheres to UK regulations and industry standards
• Providing advice and guidance to junior engineers
• Continuous improvement and contributing to the overall efficiency of the plant

Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Mechanical engineering experience within pressure systems, lola, puwer or ventilation systems
• A solid understanding various legal standards surrounding the above systems
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of mechanical principles, materials and manufacturing processes
• Based within commutable distance of Wellingborough

Mechanical Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary £60,000 - £65,000
