 About the company and job:

This consultancy specializes in energy management and building services engineering, consulting on multi-million pound new-build, refurbishments, and energy efficiency projects across public and private sectors. They are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a few years’ experience in the industry to join the small team based in Park Gate, Hampshire.
Combining energy management with technical design to tailor solutions to reduce building energy consumption and carbon emissions, this business is there from the beginning to the very end of their projects. On the mechanical side of the company, they undertake site surveys and assessments of existing installations and produce detailed design drawings and specifications for new services systems such as low-pressure hot water heating systems and ventilation and air conditioning systems.

  • The chance to be part of a close-knit team of 9 individuals including Senior Engineers and apprentices.
  • Salary circa £30,000-£50,000+ depending on your experience.

What is required from the successful Mechanical Engineer?
  • 2+ years’ experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and IES.
  • Building Services, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering specific degree.
  • Driving licence would be ideal for site visits.
  • Confident and versatile Engineer who can come into the business and hit the ground running.
