£35,000 - £44,500 (DOE) + Monday to Friday + Training + Pension + Overtime

Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is experienced in using Autodesk Inventor to join a market leading company and a small team of design engineers.

On offer is to work alongside the Managing Director and become an expert in your field working in a niche industry. You will be upskilled through on the job training and supported throughout your career.

The well-established company specialise in producing bespoke machinery, such as packaging conveyor systems, and are the main dealer for the food, drink and pharmaceutical industry. They aim to maintain their market leading status by growing the team to enable them to meet the demands of an expanding workload.

The day to day responsibilities for the role will include the full life cycle from designing to developing the full product including conveyor systems and mechanical handling machinery. You will occasionally be required to travel to various customer sites, to inspect the machinery and liaise with stakeholders.

This role would suite a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on bespoke projects for blue chip clients. You will need to have a Mechanical Design Engineering qualification and be able to use Autodesk Inventor to its full potential.

The Role

*Seeing projects from start to finish
*Designing bespoke packing machinery
*Liaising with clients and occasionally visiting sites
*Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)

The Candidate

*Mechanical Design background
*Autodesk Inventor experience required
*Willing to work in the office everyday
