Mechanical Design Engineer

• Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, plus paid overtime

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global leader in special purpose machinery manufacturing. • Design and develop machinery using Solidworks, ensuring all specifications meet the highest standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and meet customer requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and present technical details to stakeholders.
• Manage projects from concept through to completion, including testing and validation.
• Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing and assembly teams.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in sheet metal or machinery design is advantageous, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software.
• Must have a driving licence and access to own vehicle due to the site location.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
