Location: Gwent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Gwent. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our clients.

Key Skills
  • Strong proficiency in mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Experience with the design of mechanical components and systems
  • Ability to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience in Fabrication produce quality 2D drawings for manufacture 
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
Job Description As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your main responsibility will be to create innovative designs for mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and translate them into functional designs.

You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from concept development to prototyping and production. You will use mechanical design software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that designs meet the required standards and regulations.

In addition, you will collaborate with our manufacturing and production teams to provide technical support and assistance during the manufacturing process. You will also conduct research on new materials, technologies, and design trends to continuously improve our products and processes.
