Mechanical Design Engineer

This is the exciting opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplined construction company who provide a vast range of services across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will provide their expertise to the built environment through their design responsibilities and project management in the client's offices in Nottingham.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Deliver projects to a high-quality standard, producing the design of schemes and providing technical expertise
  • Assist with sound engineering, providing cost effective solutions, and develop detailed specifications and drawings
  • Carry out site inspections to ensure existing installations are up to scratch and make sure site works are in line with specification requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree within a Mechanical or Building Services engineering field, with relevant experience within a Mechanical Design Engineer role
  • Working towards or has CIBSE or CIET membership.
  • Experience with MEPWorx and IES software
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD software
  • Full UK driving license
