Gateshead, NE10 0SB – with occasional travel to project sites

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Fillworth, you'll be at the forefront of innovative design solutions for industrial mixers and process equipment. Your expertise in SolidWorks and design engineering will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise SolidWorks for design projects, focusing on process equipment and industrial mixers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet design, planning, and cost objectives
  • Apply knowledge of pressure vessel design, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer to optimise equipment performance
  • Adapt designs to meet specific client requirements and industry standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. If you have a background in design engineering and a track record of delivering successful projects, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment.
