What you'll be doing

• Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance by following established procedures and PPE guidelines and conducting team safety meetings.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead travelling cranes.
• Repairing mechanical items according to existing drawings and within specified delivery periods.
• Contributing to the design of spare parts for cranes.
• Conducting repairs and refurbishments of existing equipment.
• Take an active role in CI, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards within the Crane maintenance Team.
• Undertaking various tasks for Workshops, auxiliary plant, and downshifts as needed.
• Conducting Zone Safety audits and risk assessments at specified frequencies as outlined in the Safety Sub Plan.

Who you'll be doing it for

You'll have the opportunity to work with equipment that is used globally across various sectors, including appliances, cladding, bakeware, and general construction projects.

What you'll need to qualify

• Must be a time served mechanical fitter
• Ideally plant experience in a steel / construction related industry
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Desirable)
