Mechanical Craftsperson/ Plumber
Location:                    Suffolk
Hours:                         37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri (with out of hours emergency call out rota)

Length:                       Temporary - Permanent

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Support and work closely with maintenance team performing regular PPMs and reactive maintenance across site and plant equipment
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on air handling units, pumps, motors heating systems and  ventilation systems
• Working unsupervised, manage own workload and time management
• Carry out planned maintenance and fault finding across mechanical plant
• Complete all planned maintenance in line with statutory and industry compliance
• Partake in the on-call cover rota

Essential requirements:

• You must be city and guilds trained and previously completed a mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship
• You will have experience working on air handling units, pumps, motors heating systems and different types of ventilation systems
• An understanding of Boiler plant would be beneficial
