Mechanical Contracts Manager

Mechanical Contracts Manager, required for our client, a plumbing and heating specialist, based in Gloucestershire. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing a number of small projects, as well as ongoing servicing and reactive works throughout the area. The value of the small works, will range from £10,000 to £200,000.

The candidate MUST have experience in a previous mechanical contracts managers role. The candidate would ideally come from a technical background within the HVAC sector, specicially, commercial heating.

Mechanical Contracts ManagerPosition Overview

• Preparing cost pricing and estimates for new mechanical / HVAC works / reactive works
• Carry out any amendments or variations to existing projects / contracts
• Review technical drawings and specifications for take offs to create a materials list
• Regular contact with customers to keep them updated
• Managing labour, both direct and sub-contractors
• Working from the office in Gloucester and visiting sites around the local area as and when required.

Mechanical Contracts ManagerPosition Requirements

• Technical background, within the HVAC industry
• Experience in a similar role.
• Based within commutable distance to Gloucester
• Previous design experience advantageous
• HNC in building services desirable
• SMSTS desirable

Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Remuneration

• £42,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
• Company car and fuel card
• 28 days annual leave
• Working hours 8am - 4:30pm
• Full package discussed at interview
