Job Title Mechanical Assistant

Their Purpose An exciting and growing company who are revolutionising manufacturing technology and specialise in creating components for the aerospace, energy, marine and mining industries for large-scale industrial metal components.

Location & flexibility Milton Keynes, Flexible Working

Salary & Benefits £25,000 - £30,000 + Annual bonus of up to 10% of salary, Annual Personal salary increments, Training and development opportunities

About the Job -

  • Assist with the accurate mechanical set-up and installation of the industrial equipment both in-house and on-site.
  • You will be involved in troubleshooting in the event of mechanical issues as they arise as well as being able to perform mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment.
  • Maintain risk assessments, assist with equipment replacement, service, and repair and assist with laboratory supplies, particularly with regard to mechanical equipment.

About you -

  • A basic knowledge of welding processes would be advantageous with regard to the AM process (Wire and Arc Additive Manufacturing).
  • Be eager to train as an Additive Manufacturing machine supervisor for in-house jobs.
  • Have some experience with the operation of industrial robots. Experience with Kuka robots would be particularly beneficial although specific training will be provided.
