Proactive Personnel Ltd are proud to be recruiting for our market leading automotive dealership network in the East Midlands area. Specifically, we are recruiting for Newly Qualified technicians in the Loughborough area.

Experience and Skills required for a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician:

• You must be a team player who is always on hand to help and assist if required
• Main Dealer Experience
• A full valid driving licence as a minimum

Duties included:

• Inspect customers’ vehicles/goods, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
• Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
• Conduct electronic visual health checks
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
• Undertake major engine work - such as engine - gearbox replacements.
• Ensure a final inspection of all work
• Record accurate details of work done on Repair Order
• Participate in on-going training
• Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.

Required skills and experience:

Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply for this role. In return, you can expect to earn £26,000 per annum (depending on skill level). A bonus also paid depending on workshop targets.
