Mechanic
Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced LGV Technicians / Mechanics for our client based in Nottingham.
- To maintain, inspect, repair and test Class 4, 5 (light) and 7 vehicles for both internal and external customers
- Carry out fault diagnosis on complex hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostics equipment and Autodata to quickly diagnose and fix faults.
- To attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles and effect permanent or running repairs as required.
- To carry out class 4 and 7 MOT inspections.
- To ensure that all Health and Safety policies, practices and procedures in respect of the workshop environment are adhered to and ensure that all work areas are kept in a safe and clean condition.
- To attend training courses
A qualification in City & Guilds level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles, or equivalent is essential for this role.
Hours of work (weekly rotation).
- 07:00 - 15:00 Monday - Thursday, 14:30 Friday.
- 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday, 16:30 Friday.
Overtime is available and is paid at Time and one half after the first 5 hours.
Salary: Starting Salary is £36,000 - £38,000.
37 hours per week
£80.00 per month tooling allowance.
