Mechanics Required - Saudi Arabia (KSA) 3500 - 4000 SAR (Per Month)

Accommodation/Travel/Living Allowances + Tax Free - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

A number of Mechanic opportunities have become available for one of Saudi Arabia's leading off highway equipment and machines dealer who provides fully integrated construction machinery products and services to both private and public sector customers.

The Mechanics will Report to: Rental Service Supervisor and they will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on all types of construction equipment in the field and in the workshop. The Mechanics will have the ability to perform the job assigned in a timely and accurate form and the initiative to learn and perform the mechanical skills independently with confidence.

Equipment and Machinery includes: Cranes, Wheel Loaders; Forklifts, Compactors; Dozers; Graders; Backhoe Loaders; Excavators; Man-lifts; Skid-steer Loaders; Telescopic Handlers; Trucks, Generators; Welders; Compressors and Tower Lights.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Trouble-shoot and carry routine Preventive Maintenance service on all types of equipment.
  • Work with Service Manuals or other published information in the workshop & in the field.
  • Perform detailed fault-finding inspection on all types of construction equipment.
  • Independently determine if a machine should be exchanged or can be repaired in the field.
  • Submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports, as required by the Service procedures.
  • Work in the workshop and in the field.
  • Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on equipment.
  • Responsible for minor (and major mechanical repairs), within technical ability.
  • Perform Major Mechanical Repair and complex diagnostic in Machines and Equipment.
  • Good and careful utilization of testing tools and equipment.
  • Be willing and capable of passing on his skills to Trainees.
  • Perform Failure report on all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Ready to work at any location wherever required in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Keep abreast of all changes in the various models of equipment in the Rental fleet.
  • Maintain and comply with safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain the Company vehicles and tools in a clean & orderly condition.

  • Secondary level of education and ideally a Mechanical Apprenticeship.
  • Experience working in field service & workshop on heavy construction, diesel generators & material handling equipment.
  • Good knowledge of the English language to understand Service manuals
  • Technical Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge
  • Ability to operate construction machinery is a must to demonstrate the machines on site.
  • Valid car driving skills and licence from the country origin is a must.
