A wonderful, upcoming High School in Caerphilly is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics and a proven track record of inspiring students to love learning!
Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5.
- Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to a range of abilities.
- Assessing and recording students’ progress and providing feedback to promote development.
- Creating a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Participating in school events and contributing to the school community.
- Staying up-to-date with educational research and incorporating new methods into teaching practice.
- A degree in Science or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science in a secondary school environment.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
