Academics are currently in partnership with a Staffordshire Moorlands secondary school that is seeking to appoint an experienced Teacher of Maths to cover an absence during the summer term (April 2024 - July 2024).

Our client school (which currently has a 'Good' Ofsted rating) is known for its wide and ambitious curriculum, however the staff make sure that students learn effectively in all subjects to the best of their own ability. This school has a welcoming environment and they wish for all students to engage and achieve!

Applications are welcome from Maths Teachers at any stage in their career, including newly qualified teachers (ECT's & NQT's).

Role Requirements

  • The relevant Mathematics qualification(s): PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons, with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • A genuine passion for teaching Maths, with the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons.
  • Outstanding communication skills and can build good rapport with students.
  • An energetic, positive, and 'can-do' attitude!
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
