Rate - £29,344 - £44919

The school is a mixed secondary with a strong focus on STEM subjects and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. looking for a maths teacher who can join the team and help raise the standards and achievements of all students.

As a maths teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that follow the national curriculum and the school's policies. You will also be expected to assess and monitor the progress of your students and provide them with feedback and support. You will also be involved in the extracurricular activities and events of the maths department and the school.

You will have the opportunity to work in a long-term position starting in January 2024, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff. To be eligible for this role, you will need to have:

- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)

- A degree in maths or a related subject

- A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)

- A proven track record of teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 levels

- A passion for maths and a desire to inspire and motivate your students

- A positive and professional attitude

- A willingness to adhere to the school's policies and ethos
