Hays Education has several exciting roles for Secondary Mathematics Teachers within the Coventry area to start as soon as possible. Your new role
You will be expected as a Mathematics Teacher to lead by example and will need to be responsible for achieving high standards of pupil attainment, behaviour, and motivation through effective teaching. You will support existing teachers within the school in the development and implementation of curricular initiatives and will need to have a passion for teaching Maths. You will need to have up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum guidance for key stage 3, Key stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need to hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) and have proven experience in Teaching Key Stage 3,4 and 5 Students. You will also need to be familiar with child health and safety and Child Protection policies. You will need to ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups, and individuals and ensure high expectations of behaviour and attainment are met. You will be expected, if necessary, to intervene when teaching in order to maintain a safe environment if that is required, and to ensure all students feel safe and confident. You will need to hold a Mathematics or Mathematics-related degree.
