Maternity Cover Conveyancer, Salisbury

We have a fantastic Conveyancing opportunity within an esteemed residential property team in Salisbury, initially up until February 2025 to cover maternity leave.

At this firm excellence in conveyancing is not just expected but celebrated.

This role promises a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will manage the intricacies of residential property transactions, including the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold properties, occasionally involving unregistered titles. The individual will be instrumental in navigating mortgage procedures, SDLT processes, and a myriad of general property-related tasks.

The residential property team, a vital component of the larger Property team, is composed of a partner, a senior associate, a trainee solicitor, and two residential conveyancing assistants. This structure ensures a supportive atmosphere where collaboration and individual contribution are equally valued.

Key responsibilities include comprehensive client management from the initial sale or purchase to the final stages, including all associated legal procedures. The role demands a proactive approach to liaising with various departments, ensuring seamless property transactions, and providing expert guidance on tenancy matters.

The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding grasp of residential conveyancing, including unregistered land procedures and property law. Experience in independently managing a caseload and engaging with clients and third parties is essential. Proficiency in IT, including Practice Management and Document Management Systems, is crucial for success in this role.

The firm values the contribution of its staff and provides a platform for the successful candidate to supervise junior team members, contributing to their development as well as the firm's success.

This role is not just a position; it is a chance to be part of a respected team, to grow professionally, and to make a significant impact within the property law sector.
