We are working with a large manufacturing company that operates in the Defense sector. An opportunity has arisen for the Materials & Process Laboratory Technician to ensure that products meet demanding technical, cost and reliability requirements.

What will be expected from you:

• Wide-ranging assessment of materials including metals, paints, solders, and adhesives.
• Microsection preparation and assessment using optical microscopes.
• Tensile testing.
• Familiarity with XRF, FTIR, SEM, EDX and OES
• Preparation of reports, and interpretation of Engineering drawings and specifications.

What we are looking for in you:

• Manufacturing laboratory experience
• Microsection Inspection experience
• IT skills
