Job Title: Supply Chain Scheduler

Business Overview:

We are recruiting for a Scheduler/Planner based within Planning & Scheduling at our site in
Hartlepool. Reporting to the Hartlepool Supply Chain Manager, the purpose of the role is to be
responsible for the material resource planning and enquiry handling activities for Manufacturing Units
of the Tubes business at the Hartlepool site, in such a manner as to satisfy both customer and supply
chain needs. To ensure the plans and actions optimise supply chain performance.
The position has single point responsibility for procurement and planning of manufacturing units within
Tubes at the Hartlepool site. As part of a small flexible team, the jobholder is also required to provide
stand in cover for any of the team Schedulers duties.

The Role:

 Be responsible for planning and scheduling orders and materials ensuring that customer
orders are delivered on time and in full.
 Prepare and submit status and performance reports to the wider business.
 Work with the Supply Chain Manager to implement service level agreements with suppliers
and build KPI's to measure supplier performance.
 Plan raw materials needed to cover production demand.

The Person:

 Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
 Excellent IT skills with experience in Excel and the ability to manage, organise, and update
relevant data using database applications.
 Have the ability to show initiative in solving problems and identifying improvements to the
plans.
 Willingness to learn new process.
