Materials Engineer - 0855 - £27.00/hr PAYE

Jonathan Lee Recruitment seeks an experienced and collaborative Materials Compliance Engineer to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This Materials Compliance Engineering role is for a 12-month contract, is based in Cranfield and offers a favourable rate of £27 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Materials Compliance Engineer, you will ensure compliance with national/European/international regulations and company standards/policies/strategies related to substances and materials.

In your first few weeks in this Materials Compliance Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Work alongside Materials Regulations, Compliance and Sustainability section
• Coordinate the gathering and the validation of substances and materials composition information of vehicles and parts
• Monitor compliance with regulations related to substances (POP, REACH, CLP) and materials (ELV, RRR)
• Contribute to vehicle interior air quality by testing materials, parts and vehicles

To apply for this Materials Compliance Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include Practical experience in problem-solving tools and techniques. Competency with PC applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. The ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously.
