Marketplace Manager - In House / Lifestyle Brands - £65,000 - £80,000

The Company

A rapidly growing multinational online retailer, brand owner, and marketplace specialist. This company, recognised as one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, owns multiple successful brands across home appliances, lifestyle, and personal care categories. They are actively expanding their international presence through partnerships with Amazon and other emerging marketplaces, as well as launching brand-specific websites in new regions.

Based in London - 3 days per week in the office

The Job

We're seeking a talented Marketplace Managers (Rest of World Markets predominantly, in addition to assisting with EU/EU Markets, US/Canada Markets) to join our team, offering a rare opportunity to work in-house across a portfolio of lifestyle brands. These roles will allow you to showcase your commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to drive sales. We're looking for someone passionate about marketplace sales, who thrives on the ever-evolving tools and functionality available to solve problems and learn from them.

You'll closely collaborate with a diverse, enthusiastic, and talented team of Marketplace enthusiasts who share your passion. Reporting to our Head of Marketplace & managing a team of specialists.

  • Define, lead, and evolve the marketplace strategy for your regions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve marketplace goals

  • Drive revenue and profitability growth across all marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, onBuy, etc.)

  • Report to the Head of Marketplace and collaborate with other managers and team leads in Operations, Product Development, and Design

  • Manage a team of Marketplace Executives and Associates, setting priorities, coaching, and developing their skills for success

  • Use a data-driven approach to define revenue, profit, and advertising budgets on a product level, monitor performance, and support team members for growth.

  • Work closely with product teams to ensure marketplace expertise contributes to new product development and implement effective launch strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal stock availability, timing, and cost for maximising revenue and profitability.

  • Take charge of your markets promotional planning, including major deal events like Prime Day and Black Friday.

You

  • Demonstrable Amazon experience, managing and being accountable for the P&L of a product portfolio, driving high revenue volumes and year-on-year growth.

  • An expert in Amazon advertising and product launch strategies.

  • A skilled people manager, capable of coaching and developing others to further their careers in the industry.

  • Able to work cross-functionally to drive projects, improve processes, and maximise efficiency

  • Excellent in time management and problem-solving, thriving in fast-paced environments.

  • Commercially-minded, continuously seeking maximum revenue and profitability, with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sales and overcoming challenges.
