Job Title: Welcome Host

Location: London, West Kensington

Salary: £40,000 per annum, with discretionary bonus awarded at six months

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: 9.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility to support early / late viewings as needed)

LAH provide front of house receptionists and marketing representatives for premium commercial office schemes, working with Landlords, Investors and Property Management Companies. About the role:

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an Welcome Host to work at what is set to be London's newest cultural landmark. The £1 billion regeneration project will create a destination for art, culture, entertainment, education, exhibitions, music, food and work.

The landmark is currently being developed and you will be based in the purpose-built marketing suite, you will become the face of the development, equipping yourself with the site knowledge needed to confidently welcome guests and promote the site.

To ensure a VIP visitor experience, you will work collaboratively with key stake holders to ensure all parties are kept up to date on planned visits and viewings, reporting back with key insights to help future negotiations.

You will quickly become competent in the use of the interactive technology, designed to bring the scheme to life, focusing on the specific areas of interest for each visiting party.

To be successful, you will need to be tech savvy, organised and professional, with a warm personality, great communications skills and lots of enthusiasm.

Ideally you will be a resident of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (but we will consider applicants from the wider area if you have relevant experience and skills).

What you will be doing:

Marketing and viewings:

  • Ensure all guests receive a warm and professional welcome, efficiently signing them in following the correct protocols
  • Confidently present the development to visitors in the marketing suite, using the interactive technology to bring the scheme to life
  • Host site tours at the development, working closely with all teams to administer a VIP viewing experience
  • Quickly become knowledgeable of the whole development to ensure site visits are informative, allowing you to 'sell' the concept to perspective occupiers; these could be corporate clients looking for office space or representatives from space that has already been leased
  • Work collaboratively with the project management team, informing them of planned viewings to ensure all site tours are approved and safe route is known
  • Demonstrate a good awareness of site safety on all site tours, as you are responsible for the health and well-being of all visitors
  • Efficiently manage the calendar to ensure all viewings are booked, with sufficient time to allow for an informative visit
  • Ensure the project always presents well and communicate any concerns or useful insights to key stakeholders
  • Efficiently manage internal and external communications with key stakeholders
  • Produce a weekly report, detailing activity on site; viewings, contractors, meetings, feedback

Managing the Marketing Suite:

  • Take full ownership of the marketing suite, ensuring it is kept in pristine condition, ready for 'drop in' visits
  • Ensure the ambiance reflects the marketing vision e.g. music, lights, candles, scent, staging any props etc
  • Provide hospitality, as required, and ensure supplies are replenished
  • Ensure PPE equipment room is tidy and supplies in place ready for use

About You:

  • Marketing, Events, or Construction Project Management background, with experience of working in a live construction environment
  • Commercial property knowledge advantageous
  • Qualified in Level 1 'Health and Safety in a Construction Environment' and hold a CSCS green card (training will be given if you do not hold this qualification)
  • Demonstrate success in supplier / customer relationship development
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate appropriately at all levels

  • Professional presentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent PC/Mac user with a current working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
