Marketing Specialist

Join our client's dynamic team as an Internal Marketing Specialist at a leading events venue nestled in the beautiful Essex countryside near Kelvedon. Our client offers versatile event spaces for weddings, private hire, corporate events, and an onsite restaurant, all committed to delivering top-notch services to customers. As they continue to expand, they seek a talented and experienced marketing professional to elevate their marketing efforts to the next level.

They are in search of an experienced in house marketing specialist with a blend of creative and strategic skills to spearhead our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, food, and music, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within our clients organisation by driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print
  • Creative and strategic control of marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Manage SEO strategies to improve organic search engine rankings and drive website traffic
  • Analyse marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data driven recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials
  • Assist in the creation of compelling content for marketing collateral, including blog posts, social media posts, and email newsletters
  • Coordinate and manage projects with external vendors, such as graphic designers or advertising agencies
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on best practices

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably as a Marketing Specialist, marketing assistant, marketing manager or similar position
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content
  • Organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms such as Meta
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Preferably a marketing degree, however experience will take priority

Benefits :

  • Our client offers a competitive remuneration package, based on previous experience and qualifications, offering a salary of £26,000-£32,000 per annum.
  • Full time employed position, 40 hours per week on a flexi-rota, due to events.
