The role

They’re about to hit a new phase of growth, so there will be plenty to throw your marketing prowess at. As Marketing Manager You’ll work closely with sales teams within your geographical region, to drive marketing campaigns that stay focused on lead quality, with ongoing analysis, to continually develop how they attract new people and nurture interest.

Day to day, this role is ultimately responsible for overseeing a multi-channel approach, where you will co-ordinate the execution of plans that aim to grow brand awareness for new site openings, re-launches & wider promotional activities. It has a lot of responsibility and little micro-management, where you’ll look after budgets, advise sales team on brand and advertising guidelines, and consult with external agencies, i.e. PPC, PR & media, marketing, advertising, brochure designers, radio companies etc.

You’ll also co-ordinate the preparation of press statements & media enquiries, liaise with PR teams and relevant departments as well as looking after their presence on various social platforms. It will also involve looking after their web content, photography, e-campaigns and mailshots. As expected, working with the CRM manager, ensuring messages are en-pointe will also be a key element, constantly reviewing and investigating new marketing opportunities.

What we’re looking for

Ultimately, this is an engaging role, where you’ll work with the most senior leaders across the business to ensure they create and execute joined up marketing plans to deliver commercial objectives. It’s therefore important, that you’re commercially astute (savvy with date & budgets), a skilled communicator, who can produce and explain both written and verbal forms of marketing information, reports, and data for management. You won't have junior team members to support you, so it's important that you're as happy being hands-on as you are with campaign strategy.

Knowledge of the property sector would be handy for this role, but they are open to people from other sectors that are used to driving awareness that captures the heart & mind, particularly from the FMCG or consumer sectors.

It is essential that you have a sound grasp of most common digital marketing channels and enjoy working on a mix of campaigns from the ground up and want to join a firm that has a first-class culture which will significantly add value to your career. The role also involves element of PR & Comms so knowledge of how to generate positive press coverage is also important.

Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce and Google analytics would be handy, as well, and previous knowledge of managing marketing activities for a busy Sales / Marketing function is essential.
