This growing startup specialising in project management software for architects and engineers is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time or part-time, remote working basis.

About The Company

They are a passionate and ambitious team building a niche SaaS project financial management app in the Architecture and Engineering industry. They're a small but growing startup with a laser focus on innovation and customer success. 

In this exciting role, you'll be the driving force behind their marketing strategy, generating leads and propelling their growth across all digital channels.

As their Marketing Manager, you'll wear many hats, but your core focus will be on lead generation through the power of digital media and content creation. You'll be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, crafting a comprehensive marketing plan that encompasses the entire funnel - from brand awareness to customer conversion and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy focused on lead generation through digital channels.
  • Content Marketing:
    • Plan, create, and manage high-quality content that resonates with target audiences at all levels of the funnel.
    • Manage content calendar and editorial workflow.
    • Optimise website content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic traffic.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Implement effective paid advertising campaigns (PPC) 
    • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns (lead nurturing, promotions, etc.)
    • Manage and analyse social media presence, creating engaging content and building a strong online community.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Website Management:
    • Oversee website optimisation and user experience (UX).
    • Track and analyse website traffic and conversion metrics.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Track and analyse marketing campaign performance using key metrics (KPIs) like leads generated, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
    • Generate regular reports, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and support their lead generation efforts.
    • Collaborate with the product team to ensure marketing messaging aligns with product features and benefits.
  • Stay Current:
    • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest marketing trends and technologies in the SaaS industry.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS startup environment.
  • A proven track record of success in generating leads and driving growth through digital marketing channels.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles and the ability to create compelling content across various formats.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • A strong command of written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • A "get things done" attitude with a passion for innovation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • UK-based with the ability to work remotely (part-time work schedule negotiable).
  • An understanding of the Built Environment / AEC market.
  • A creative and design-oriented mind.
