Company - A GLOBAL Pharmaceutical company with branded and generic solutions. Established over 85 years the business has a turnover more than £2 billion and a real focus on corporate responsibility and sustainability.

Role -

The Marketing Manager will fully own marketing responsibility for the range of branded generic pharmaceuticals. Being a key commercial lead in the UK business the appointed person will work closely with the National Sales Manager and Medical Science Liaison Manager to ensure an effective marketing campaign supports all commercial activity. This will extend to working closely with the field-based sales team.

The role can be described as a total marketing opportunity, the remit involves strategic, creative, and implementation - targeting the ICB space within the NHS with effective messaging to penetrate from there to both primary and secondary care sectors. A key part of the role will be KOL / Advocate Network development and the position will demand face to face marketing action with stakeholders. This will include work at symposiums and conferences. As the Marketing budget holder, you will also work closely with creative agencies and RA/QA consultants to ensure regulatory adherence. This is a fantastic opportunity that reports into a dynamic country manager and who has built an exceptional sales team.

Applicant Profile -

  • 5 years + Marketing Management / Senior Marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical / Medical Device / Life Science / Healthcare Sector.
  • Product Management skills and branding.
  • They will demonstrate a great knowledge and understanding of ownership of marketing campaigns, from the strategy through design and implementation stages.
  • They will be able to show that they have worked with products that have differentiators and are not marketed simply on price.

Ideally, they will also have

  • Experience working with / marketing to ICBs.
  • Respiratory
  • Market Access
