My client is looking for a dedicated Marketing Legacy Supporter Relationship Manager to join their charity based in West Sussex. This pivotal role focuses on nurturing relationships with legacy supporters, ensuring their continued engagement and support for our cause. The ideal candidate will have a passion for charitable work and a talent for marketing and relationship management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage legacy supporters effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, providing them with regular updates on the charity’s work and the impact of their legacy.
  • Organise and manage supporter events and initiatives to enhance supporter engagement.
  • Work closely with the communications team to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns tailored to legacy supporters.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of legacy marketing activities, using insights to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to ensure a cohesive approach to supporter management and to identify opportunities for cross-promotion.
  • Ensure all supporter interactions are recorded accurately in the CRM system, maintaining data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, fundraising, or supporter relationship management within the charity sector.
  • Strong understanding of legacy giving and its importance to charitable organisations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns, with a focus on relationship building.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage supporter data and track engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
