Job Description

Legal and General Retail's Customer Value Analytics team is looking to hire a Marketing Data Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract to support in delivering deeper insight and understanding into the impact of marketing spend on customer conversion rate and calculating marketing ROI.

This role will see you delivering excellence in conversion focussed analytics and measurement to internal customers across the Retail Business. You will be leading and delivering investigations into our conversion journey, presenting actionable analytical conclusions and recommendations to key stakeholders in marketing, optimisation and contact centre teams.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering fine-tuned insights through the effective capture of requirements from internal customers using strong data extraction, manipulation & analysis to deliver conclusions back to stakeholders.

• Working with local teams to build strong relationships to aid the delivery of the Retail roadmap

• Using established statistical test methodologies to ensure all analysis activity is measured in a robust and consistent way

• Building and publishing automated dashboards and visualisations in PowerBI to support the on and offline customer journeys (including after sale on boarding) that will support trading and planning cycles

• Supporting the optimisation team with modelled and predictive insight regarding customer's online & offline behaviours assessing and increasing understanding of conversion drivers, providing a key input to help achieve conversion improvement targets.

• Ensuring that all data is stored in a compliant manner with L&G's data storage policy and that any data transferred is in a secure manner in accordance with L&G's policy and the data protection act.

Qualifications

• Experience in R, Python, SAS, SQL, SPSS or similar

• Experience of data manipulation and commercial value modelling

• Experience of high volume on/offline transactional environments

• Experience of model building and shaping appropriate performance reporting capability for on/offline environments would be beneficial

• Experienced and comfortable working under tight deadlines.

• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams

• Additional experience in data manipulation software e.g. Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBI would be beneficial
