We have an opportunity for an Marketing Co-ordinator to join our team in either our Cardiff or Swansea offices.

Your responsibilities

You will provide general all round marketing support to our Welsh region as well as the Senior Marketing Manager, who is based in Cardiff.

This job is ideal for someone earlier on in their marketing career and wanting to gain experience in a wide mix of activities including online and offline events, social media, campaigns, advertising and research. The person we are looking for should be keen to progress within an exciting role and who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting on the organisation and delivery of webinars, plus follow up work.
  • Supporting on the co-ordination of in person events, including invitations, liaising with an external venue when relevant, caterers and speakers if in house; set up, attending, meet and greet, and ensure any marketing materials, banners etc are available and set out etc, plus following up with guests post event. Please note some of these events will require you to travel - usually to London, but these are not often.
  • Support with the creation of marketing collateral and keeping it up to date.
  • Supporting on research - regional and sector related
  • Digital marketing campaign support
  • Support on social media campaigns.
  • Support on monthly electronic mailings.
  • Support on general administration such as setting up meetings, taking minutes, creating PowerPoint presentations, etc.

You will also have the opportunity to aid the wider marketing team with:

  • Support with managing the database of the regions clients.
  • Support with producing office client gains and losses monthly reports.
  • Support with producing analysis of events and marketing materials.
  • Supporting the region with producing pitches and proposals documents (in PowerPoint)
  • Supporting with all in person events in Wales, both at the office and elsewhere we might be a sponsor.

Qualifications and skills

  • Ideally to have a minimum of 2 years hands on marketing experience
  • Excellent IT skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel essential
  • Experience and an aptitude for design an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills essential (written and verbal)
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills essential
  • Confident in dealing with people.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage a fast paced and busy environment.
  • Team player.
