The Role

This is an entry-level position and is ideal for someone wanting to start their career in Marketing within a fast-growing company. The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing team in developing and implementing marketing strategies to ensure the effective promotion of service offering.The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and highly organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and implementation of marketing projects.

Key Objectives

  • Support with the maintenance of the CRM, ensuring data remains up to date.
  • Support the Marketing Executive with lead list generation for the Business Development team, undertake research within specific regions and provide target lists for outreach. Support with lead qualification activities including verifying contact information and assessing the potential client's pipeline activity.
  • Support Business Development team with pre-event outreach and assist Marketing Executive with management of event export lists including updating CRM to allow for post-event campaigns.
  • Assist in generating leads through various channels such as email campaigns and social media platforms. This could involve compilation of contact lists, drafting outreach messages, and tracking responses.
  • Support with the development and execution of the marketing strategy, including assisting the Marketing team with social media content management.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns, interpreting campaign results and generating analytic reports.
  • Manage email marketing lists, ensuring data remains up to date and segmentation works effectively across CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Monitor the performance of email marketing campaigns, working with the Business Development team to ensure effective handover of leads.
  • Assist Marketing team with the management of outsourced marketing solutions.
  • Collate and manage the database for industry awards, working with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure application deadlines are met.
  • Assist with data analysis and preparing input for monthly team meeting and board report.
  • Work with the Marketing team to collaborate with teams across the business to deliver marketing strategy.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry and social media trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for the company.
  • Actively participate in other initiatives and projects, as mutually agreed, to support the development, expansion, and evolution of the company.

Skills and Experience

  • A Marketing-focused bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a keen interest in Business and Marketing.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
  • Ability to think creatively and generate ideas.
  • Ability to review and interpret campaign results and generate insights.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional computer literacy in Microsoft Office Packages, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • A clear ambition to progress your career in Marketing.
  • Experience working with a CRM platform is advantageous but not a mandatory requirement.
