Our client is a national container and site accommodation supplier, with headquarters in the city of Southampton, Hampshire. We cover the entire UK through strategically located depots across the country. Our clients in-house transport division, self-storage site set-up consultancy and conversions business ensures we're able to assist customers across their entire journey, while limiting the economical and environmental impact on their business or vision.

Description

The main responsibilities for the Marketing Assistant role are:

Digital Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.
  • Assist in creating engaging content for websites, social media channels, email newsletters, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and analyse digital marketing metrics to optimise campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

    Graphic Design:
  • Utilise graphic design software to create visually appealing assets for online and offline marketing materials, including banners, social media posts, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all design elements and marketing collateral.


Social Media Management:

  • Manage and maintain social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand promotion and audience engagement.
  • Implement social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in planning, organising, and executing marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, and product launches.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as booth setup, signage, promotional materials, and vendor coordination.
  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution and maximise brand exposure.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Marketing Assistant role is someone who looks like:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of online advertising platforms and strategies.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for business purposes, including content creation and community management.
  • Previous involvement in event coordination or management, with the ability to handle logistics and execute plans effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
