Salary: £22,681 with incremental progression to £24,533

The Role

Are you looking for an exciting and varied role supporting their Marketing Team?

Our client now have a vacancy for a Marketing and Recruitment Assistant, this role has become available due to their current Marketing Assistant progressing internally within the team. You'll be responsible for supporting the Campaign & Content Manager and team in executing marketing campaigns, managing social media channels, and creating content. You'll have the chance to gain valuable first-hand experience using different marketing packages and software.

They’re looking for a self-starter with a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have some experience in marketing or communications. A basic understanding of graphic design or videography is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Work with Marketing & Recruitment Content Executives and Manager to support delivery of marketing, communications, student recruitment and campaign activity to drive traffic, engagement, generate leads and raise the profile of the university.

Examples of this are:

  • Support delivery of social media posting
  • Support with social media analysis
  • Support delivery of internal and external communications
  • Assist with organisation of film and photography opportunities

Work with the Campaign and Content Team/Digital Team to update/deploy content through the website and digital channels to enhance engagement with key audience groups and assist in monitoring effectiveness.

Examples of this are:

  • Upload and tag images
  • Update web content supplied by members of the team or others
  • Co-ordinate the updating of specific areas of the web site such as staff profiles or course pages

Researching and drafting of information to inform various content formats, such as blogs, web pages, images and to inform plans.

Examples of this are:

  • Conduct internet research, social listening to inform content delivery
  • Create mood boards/reports on style of content/imagery for target
  • audiences

Provide administrative support across the department.

To include:

  • Raising POs
  • Diary management
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Help maintain asset and knowledge banks to support marketing and recruitment activity

Support the analyse of all activity to help inform future plans and engagement and the production on monthly performance reports.

To include:

  • Support tracking of performance of activity
  • Work with team members to compile monitoring and evaluation reports
  • Support with customer insight
